Every season of life brings it challenges. We all have times in our lives when we may feel overwhelmed and tired or struggle to make the best lifestyle choices. Sometimes we may simply feel we need to make a change, but we aren’t sure where to begin. As the above quote states, wellness is about all aspects of our lives and is unique to each person. I believe bio-individuality and creating a client-centered program are important components of your program.

About Me

A little about me and how I got here. I am a certified health and wellness coach as well as a certified personal trainer. I am passionate about helping women achieve the wellness they desire through exercise and nutrition, as well as nourishing their spirit and cultivating balance in their lives.

If I can be honest with you, my desire to do the work I love came out of a very difficult season in my life. A few years ago, within the period of a few months I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, my only living parent passed away, my last child went off to college and my very difficult marriage of 31 years ended in divorce. My career for the previous 28 years was raising my four children and managing all the day-to-day craziness that brings with it. This new season definitely did not look how I thought it would. I was exhausted and felt very overwhelmed, yet I knew I had to keep moving forward. So, now what?

The Hashimoto diagnosis really throw me for a loop because I thought of my self as a relatively healthy person. I knew I needed to upgrade my health and learn more about the best ways to do so. Completing the health and wellness certifications and the personal trainer certification has given me the opportunity to help women develop a vision that speaks to them and brings greater joy into their lives. Through many conversations with women, I realized I wasn’t alone in feeling overwhelmed and not sure how to write in a new chapter in my book of life. Not all our stories were the same, but common themes were clear; we were exhausted, we put ourselves last for years, and we were ready to make changes that enhanced our wellbeing and our lives.

When we work together, we will explore your strengths and challenges, identify health and wellness goals, and develop a plan to lean into those strengths to achieve the life vision you desire.
